Year: 1990
Location: Norway
Project: Underground railway station
Owner: National Railway Administration
Background: The station is about 100 meters away from the seaside and lower than the underground water level, which seeps into the underground structure and seriously affects the operation. On the outside of the structure, waterproof roll material is used in the original design. In 1990, the positive electrode of electroosmotic pulse anti-seepage dehumidification system was installed inside the side wall of the station, and the negative electrode was installed outside the wall. The problem of water seepage was completely solved, and the station was permanently dry from then on.
